Mike was a foodie all his life. He loved to cook and he loved to eat. Not long before he died, he made an entry in his diary about what he wanted to eat when he felt better. It contained things like: Mom’s crancerry bread, my spaghetti sauce, steak (rare, rare).
Colon cancer is a particularly bad way to die for someone who loves food as much as Mike did.
So I decided to add some of his and my favorite recipes.
All of the recipes are from scratch, and none contain processed foods. That’s the way I’ve tried to eat all my life because that’s the healthiest way to eat.
Cooking from scratch doesn’t take all that long, and it’s not hard to learn how.
